NSU Men's Cross Country Wins Colonial Invitational
NSU Women Finish Sixth

Norfolk, Va.— The Norfolk State University men's cross-country team won the Colonial Cross-Country Invitational at The College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia this past weekend. The Norfolk State women's team also participated in the meet and finished sixth.

The NSU men took five of the Top 10 slots to win the meet with a total of 21 points. Senior Joseph Terer won the meet with a time of 26 minutes and 11 seconds. Junior Thomas Hightower (26.40) and sophomore Duncan Bitok (26.48) finished third and fifth respectively. While freshman Patrick Scott (27.43) and senior Kirwayne Holford (27.44) finished ninth and tenth.

Freshman Denisha Hudson was the top finisher for the NSU women's team. Hudson's time of (20.03) was good enough for 12th place. Sophomore Judy Tubei was the only other Spartan to finish in the Top 25 with a time of 20 minutes and 43 seconds to finish 23rd.

Both the men and women teams will travel to Centreville, Virginia this Saturday, as they will participate in the George Washington University Invitational.
