In this new position, Schexnider will serve under the direction of President McDemmond as the university's number two person and chief operating officer. He will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the university including special initiatives that have a university-wide impact, working with vice presidents and other key personnel to ensure timely responsiveness to institutional objectives, coordinating all of the university's administrative and strategic planning processes, and convening meetings of the president's cabinet in her absence.
