THE
VIRGINIA ASSOCIATION OF BLACK PSYCHOLOGISTS TO SPONSOR SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISING DINNER Norfolk, Va. --- The Virginia Association of Black Psychologists (VABPsi) is sponsoring the Dr. William "Bill" Colson Psychology Scholarship Fundraising Dinner at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2000, at the Holiday Inn Chesapeake. Colson served in the psychology department at Norfolk State University for 27 years until his sudden death last July. The scholarship in his memory was established to assist undergraduate psychology students at NSU who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need in the pursuit of their collegiate careers. The donation to attend the dinner is $100.00 per person. Tickets can still be purchased until Friday, May 5th. And donations to the Bill Colson Scholarship Fund can be made at anytime. Checks may be made payable to the VABPsi and mailed to the address below.
