COLLEGE PRESENTS MATH WORKSHOP Norfolk, Va. --- The Norfolk State University Children's College presents "A Step in Mathematics," a one-day workshop designed to present opportunities for students to explore major concepts for success in mathematics. The workshop will be offered from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2000 at the NSU Tri-Cities Center, located at 4300 George Washington Highway in Portsmouth, Virginia. The workshop is for students in grades five through 12, and will focus on test taking skills and objectives included on the standards of learning (SOL), scholastic aptitude test (SAT), and other examinations.
