Adjunct Clinical Nursing Faculty Positions
POSITIONS: The School of Science and Technology
seeks outstanding candidates for adjunct clinical faculty positions in
Nursing. These positions are temporary and based upon semester needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include: clinical education,
supervision and evaluation of students enrolled in the associate degree
or baccalaureate degree programs and associated responsibilities, i.e.
review of care plans, student assignments.
QUALIFICATIONS: Registered nurse with recent clinical experience in
medical-surgical nursing, pediatric, or community health nursing.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing required; master’s degree preferred;
excellent interpersonal skills required; and a commitment to teaching
and supervising nursing students. Must collaborate with the course
coordinators to ensure that clinical experiences meet expected course
outcomes.
SALARY/RANK: Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications
and experience.
EFFECTIVE DATE: Spring 2004
