Faculty Position in Health Information Management
POSITION: Applications are invited for a full-time tenure track position in health information management at the rank of Instructor/Assistant Professor.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include: (1) curriculum development and evaluation; (2) teaching of assigned courses, including clinical assignments, supervision, and evaluation of students; (3) maintaining sufficient office hours as per University guidelines; (4) participating on committees; (5) participating in proposal writing and other research activities; and (6) other duties as assigned by the program director.
QUALIFICATIONS: Registered Record Administrator with advanced preparation in health information management. Doctorate preferred, Master’s required. Based on departmental evaluation criteria, candidates must present: (1) documented recent experience in teaching health information management students and clinical experience in health information management; (2) documented commitment to teaching and interests in both research and curriculum development; and (3) community and professional service involvement.
SALARY/RANK: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
