Restricted Faculty Position in Physics
POSITION: The School of Science and Technology seeks applications for a nine-month position in the Department of Physics at Norfolk State University.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Successful candidate will be expected to effectively teach undergraduate physics courses, advised students, develop the curriculum, serve on departmental, school, and university committees, and perform appropriate scholarly and services activities.
QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications include a graduate degree in physics; a commitment to excellence in innovative teaching and advising; outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to work effectively with students; and good computer skills to facilitate incorporating technology into teaching.
SALARY/RANK: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
