Faculty Position in Nursing
POSITION: The School of Science and Technology seeks outstanding candidates for a faculty position in Nursing.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include: (1) curriculum development and evaluation; (2) teaching of assigned courses, including clinical assignments, supervision, and evaluation of students; (3) participating on committees; (4) participating in proposal writing and other research activities; and (5) other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Registered nurse with advance preparation in community health nursing. Doctorate preferred, master’s required. Based on departmental evaluation criteria, candidates must present: (1) recent experience in teaching nursing students and clinical experience in community health nursing; (2) excellent interpersonal skills required; (3) a commitment to teaching and interests in both research and curriculum development; and (4) evidence of community and professional service involvement.
SALARY/RANK: Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
EFFECTIVE DATE: Fall 2003
