Poster/Poetry Contest

Poster/Poetry Competition

Norfolk State University partnered with the Chrysler Museum of Art and Wal-Mart Inc. in sponsoring a Poster and Poetry competition as part of the Voices from within the Veil conference.  This competition allowed students from middle school, high school, and college to create posters or poetry that raised the awareness of African-American perspectives on democracy in America from the beginning of the Jamestown Settlement in 1607 until today.
