3 for $10?

Nope! How about $80,000 per song?

In our effort to further educate our student body about downloading music and movies, copyrights and the law, we recommend heading over to the EDUCAUSE  resources. There you will find a lot of useful information on Piracy, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act , and P2P programs. You will also find a list of legal ways to watch movies and TV shows and listen to music. Some of those legal sites are:

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has a website with legal sites for music. The Motion Picture Association of America has a website that lists legal sites to watch TV and movies.

As always, the OIT Security Team wants to promote safe and legal surfing. Here’s the flyer from our recent visits to the dorms.

The Security Awareness Training is an important part of NSU's IT Security program.  The tutorial will present you with several questions which will also provide you with information about keeping your computer and data secure.

Network Access Information for Students
NAC - Help Us Protect You

NSU has adopted network access controls to verify the integrity of student computers. These controls will verify the user’s identity, whether an anti-virus program is installed and up to date and whether the Windows based operating system has the most recent patches applied. To do this, we use a technology developed by Cisco Systems called Cisco NAC.
