Graduating Student Exit Survey Overview
The Graduating Student Exit Survey is conducted by the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment of Norfolk State University (NSU) to provide a continuing institutional performance assessment of NSU's undergraduate and graduate programs for the purpose of program improvement and quality enhancement. The survey is completed by all graduating undergraduate (associate and baccalaureate) and graduate students.
The Survey is designed to assess seven core areas:
1. Student satisfaction with major/program
2. Student evaluation of program elements
3. Student satisfaction with support services and programs
4. Impact of major/program on students' cognitive and personal development
5. Impact of education on students' cognitive and personal development
6. Overall usefulness and satisfaction with the education at NSU
7. Demographic profile of graduating students.
