The goals of the Institutional Effectiveness
and Assessment are to:
| ♦ | Improve the institution’s effectiveness in carrying out its mission by providing data and results from a variety of institutional and educational studies, with a focus on academic quality and responsiveness to student needs |
| ♦ | Keep assessment and effectiveness activities manageable, meaningful and efficient |
| ♦ | Help the university to be accountable to itself, the state, accrediting bodies and other external audiences, and to comply with applicable mandates and requests in a timely manner |
| ♦ | Encourage scholarship of assessment and effectiveness in teaching and learning |
| ♦ | Exercise

stewardship of university and state resources |
