Internationally Diverse
Education and Area Studies Program
This IC-CAE initiative, which is called the Internationally Diverse Education
and Area Studies (IDEAS) Program at Norfolk State University, is designed to
augment student’s current major area of study and increase their opportunity for
employment within the Intelligence Community.
Students in The School of Science
and Technology Honors Program called the Dozoretz National Institute for
Mathematics and Applied Sciences (DNIMAS), other NSU Honors Program, which
includes students from all disciplines across the university, and the
Interdisciplinary Studies Program in the School of Liberal Arts will be targeted
for participation.
These groups of students will form an elite corps of NSU
students, who will have expanded opportunities to participate in a
National Security Certificate (NCS) program.
All students who are United States citizens may apply for the IC-CAE
IDEAS program. If interested please contact the
IC-CAE Program Director
Dr. Arlene Maclin or the IC-CAE Program Coordinator
Cecelia West.
