IC-CAE Preliminary Schedule

Spring 2011 Events

January 19  - Celebrating the Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King (IC Sponsored Contest for College Students).  Students will be asked to decided how Science and Technology can be used to help us live out the ideal of Dr. Martin Luther King’s statement,  “Peace is not merely a distant goal that we seek, but a means by which we arrive at that goal.”   The winning Essay will be featured and recognized at our annual symposium in March.. 

January 26 - CIA Info Session. 6:00 – 7:30 pm. New Student Center, Room 307:  Come and learn about the intriguing co-op and full-time opportunities the CIA has to offer!    Click Here for More Details

February 2 - IC Café – Chinese Music, Culture and Language  in celebration of Chinese New Year.  Students who are taking Chinese and the community will be asked to participate in this evening of activities.  (More information to follow).

March 1 - Summer scholars selected for cultural immersion program 

March 2 - IC Speaker Available date 

March 16 - IC CAE Annual Symposium – A focus on China and North (Exact title to be determined)  Showcase of the cyber security projects.  Save the Date** 

March 23 – 30  (Annual Beta Kappa Chi Meeting, Atlanta Georgia) .  This is an opportunity to recruit from more than 500 honor students.  

April 6 – APS Seminar 

April 26th NATO Festival (High School Forum)  

April 28th World Affairs Council Dinner 

April 29th - Parade of Nations 

May 4 -   IC End of Year Celebration – Celebrating our graduates and welcoming our newest class of IC Scholars.

Morning: Writing Seminar with CIA- By invite only
 

Afternoon:
Interested in a Career with the CIA?
If you are interested in learning more about the CIA, this is the meeting for you! Our
guest speaker will be talking about the various opportunities within the CIA for students
and graduates. This will be a great opportunity to talk with an employee from the
intelligence community and anyone who has any interest is encouraged to come.

3:30-5:30pm in the New Student Center, Room 138C.
