Float Design/Building Workshop

Interested in learning how to build a float for this year’s Homecoming Parade? Walter Parker, NSU instructor of technology, will host a series of float design/building workshops from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Robinson Technology Center, Room 133.

Free and open to any group or organization interested in designing a Homecoming float, the Float Design/Build Workshop schedule is as follows:

• Friday, October 7   - Introduction/How to Build a Float
• Friday, October 14 - Determing Your Float Design/Materials Needed to Build Your Float
• Friday, October 21 - Material Take-Off
• Friday, October 28 - Float Building/Assembly Day (Robinson Technology Center Parking Lot)
