The (OIT) Client Services assists
employees and students with NSU account access, resolve IT related issues and requests
concerning on-campus computer systems and equipment.
Services include:

Reporting Problems
Please have the following information available
before you contact the Help Desk:

Give name and
telephone extension

Identify the
computer you are working at (check NSU# and
serial number on CPU)

Check screen for
any error message

Give estimated time
factor (when experiencing a response time
problem)

If computer is
freezing, how long does it freeze, or how long
does it take to reboot the computer?

Identify the system
or software package with which you are
experiencing problems

Give model number
of failing device for hardware-related problems

Experiencing Problems
If you should experience any problems logging
into your account, please visit one of the
OIT-managed computer laboratories in the University
Library, Brown Memorial Hall, the Wood Sciences
Building, or the Spartan Station Mall for
assistance.
Prepare to show either the University
identification card or other picture identification
in order to receive assistance & access account. If
