Who's Eligible?

Undergraduate scholarships are available each year to college students who have completed at least one semester at Norfolk State University and have demonstrated use of ACCESS services.  Each applicant must be an undergraduate, full-time (12 hrs.), degree seeking student for the current semester, the previous semester and will complete graduation requirements within 6 years.  The applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 and demonstrate a minimum increase of 0.2 GPA from the previous semester in which you apply.  In order to retain the scholarship for the entire academic year, recipients must demonstrate an increase of 0.2 for the following semester.  High school students and first semester college freshmen are not eligible.

Application Requirements

Each applicant must complete ALL sections of the application and attach two letters of recommendation.  Recommendations must be dated for the current semester.  Along with your application, a typed essay expressing educational and/or career goals should also be attached (a minimum of 250 words).
