 Scholarship Opportunities


Who's Eligible?

Undergraduate scholarships are available each year to college students who have completed at least one semester at Norfolk State University and have demonstrated use of ACCESS services. Each applicant must be an undergraduate, full-time (12 hrs.), degree seeking student for the current semester, the previous semester and will complete graduation requirements within 6 years.

The applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.3 and demonstrate an increase cumulative GPA from the previous semester in which you apply. To retain the scholarship for the entire academic year, recipients must maintain full-time status while enrolling and participating in the male/female mentoring program. High school students and first semester college freshmen are not eligible.

How to Apply

Please complete the application and submit to the Office of First Year Experience/ACCESS by the deadline date each year. ACCESS Scholarship Application

Application Requirements

Each applicant must complete ALL sections of the application and attach one letter of recommendation from a FYE/ACCESS staff. Recommendations must be dated for the current semester.
