The Financial Aid Office works diligently to assist students in meeting their financial obligations to the university. The Financial Aid Office assists students and parents in the process of applying for financial aid. The Office offers aid in the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); conducts individual counseling sessions with students and parents to ensure a successful financial aid process; sends correspondence informing students of documentation necessary to determine financial aid eligibility and processes submitted documentation; receives and notifies students of institutional and outside scholarship information; processes and awards financial aid according to student eligibility.

The Financial Aid Office endeavors to ensure the financial aid process is a smooth one through pertinent communication and knowledgeable staff. Towards this objective, the Office strives to provide adequate staff and training; to participate in its state, regional and national associations, actively engage in relevant training opportunities, and to stay abreast of issues relating to student financial aid.
