NSU faculty
and staff members may contact the Work Management Center or submit a
work request online via the
Facilities Management
Request Site,
also known as TMA. This system assigns, tracks, and closes work requests
and orders, and sends automatic status updates by email. |
|
Students are required
to contact Residence Life regarding maintenance related issues on
campus. |
|
Emergency requests should
be called in to (757) 823-8510 or 823-8050. |
|
|
|
Procedures |
1. Users submit work
requests online via the Facilities Management Request Site (TMA).
2. A confirmation e-mail will automatically be sent to users stating
their request number.
3. Work Management personnel will review the request and assign to the
appropriate trade shop and a
work order number will automatically be generated (ex. FM-#####).
4. The tradesman/technician will assess and/or fulfill the request and
update the work order via the
Facilities Management Request Site (TMA) accordingly. Please note that
additional work or staff may be
required to complete the request.
5. E-mail notification will be sent to the user when the status of a
work order changes.
|
The proper
procedure for notifying the Work Management Center of problems is to
submit a request online via the
Facilities Management Request Site (TMA). Urgent and emergency requests
should be called in for immediate
