Justin Deuro completed his B.S. in Optical Engineering from the University of Rochester’s Institute of Optics in Rochester, New York. While at Rochester, Mr. Deuro gained experience in the Optics Industry through internships and private studies of University-Industry relations, along with lab experience including Quantum Optics. As a member of the Optical Society of America, Mr. Deuro helped plan and execute outreach programs for science and engineering education to the inner-city schools of Rochester. Joining Norfolk State University in the summer of 2011, Mr. Deuro works as the Engineering Technician for Optical and Electronic Engineering labs. He helps to design and build new labs for the undergraduate programs, and participates in the outreach efforts for the engineering program.
