Brief Biography
Dr. Basappa received his BS in electrical engineering from Mysore University, India, M.S. and Ph.D.degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Indian Institute of Science, India. He has worked as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at University of South Carolina and Queens University, Canada. He has extensive research experience in the areas of Computer Engineering, VLSI design, Image Processing, instrumentation and computational electromagnetics. His current areas of research and publications are in the area of computer engineering, VLSI design, numerical electromagnetics and image processing. Dr. Basappa joined Norfolk State University in 1999 and the department of Electronics engineering in 2002.
