This course provides a basic overview of intelligence at the unclassified level. It includes a brief history of the development intelligence as a profession. It examines the structure of the national intelligence community and its sixteen agencies. Intelligence preparation of the battle space and the use of sensors as part of the collection process and analytical methodology are briefly explored. It will provide a general framework and understanding of the intelligence community and its functions at the macro-level as well as give students the context of United States Intelligence today.
