League of Women Voters of South Hampton Roads Forum” Does Your Vote Really Count? 

The Forum will be facilitated by Dr. Virginia Armstrong, President of LVWSHR , and the Moderator for the panel will be Mrs. Barbara Lee-Hamm, Talk Show personality, WHRO. 

The panelists are:

Delegate Matthew James, a member of the Virginia General Assembly; Ms. Sandra Brandt, Political Consultant; Mr. Lawrence Guyot, Lawyer and Civil Rights Activist; and  Dr. Carol Pretlow, Professor. Political Science, Norfolk State University.

The Lyman Beecher Brooks Library will play several DVDs about the U.S. Constitution in the main lobby in commemoration of Constitution Day.
