NSU Graduation Fall 2009

Norfolk State University’s Fall 2009 Commencement will be held in the Joseph G. Echols Memorial Hall Arena on Saturday, December 12, 2009. The processional will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the program immediately following at 10:00 a.m. All guests are required to have an Admission Ticket for the Commencement Ceremony. Seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Access to the Arena will not be permitted during the Processional. Please inform your guests in order that they may plan their time of arrival at the Exercises accordingly.

Candidates for Fall Graduation

Candidates for graduation (Associate, Baccalaureate, Master’s, and Doctoral Degrees) are those who have or will have completed ALL requirements for graduation in December 2009 and have been certified by their academic departments and the Registrar. Candidates for graduation must be cleared by the Office of Finance and Business AND must complete the Graduating Student Exit Survey (GSES). The GSES is only available online at http://www.nsu.edu/iea/active_surveys.php .

 It must be completed on a printable computer. Candidates for Graduation are required to print the GSES Confirmation Page and submit it when picking up their Graduation Announcements. The GSES Confirmation Page is not directly linked to the GSES; it only serves as proof of completion.
