Develop, strengthen and expand cooperative relations and, ultimately,
partnerships between the University and business, industry, and
government sectors.
Enhance graduates’ ability to compete for jobs by providing them
with “real work” experiences.
Augment faculty programs with business resources, and to extend
faculty research opportunities to public and private businesses.
Support and expand the institution’s educational, technological and
scholarship programs
Create occasions for the President, faculty, staff, and students to
present the University’s strengths, accomplishments, and offerings to
leaders and future leaders of Corporate America.
Increase the number of NSU corporate and governmental Cluster members
Foster increased corporate participation in NSU programs and
initiatives
Develop key pathways for executive level involvement, management
involvement, and general membership/prospective membership involvement
Increase the number of business-sponsored scholarships and internships
available to NSU students
Increase opportunities for NSU student recruitment activities held in
areas where Cluster businesses are located
Target larger numbers of placements for NSU graduates within these
businesses
Increase opportunities for NSU faculty support through research,
summer internships, and other professional collaborations with
businesses
Provide state-of-the-art classroom/laboratory equipment and
instruction to address the needs and expectations of today’s industry
and tomorrow’s global markets.
