The Applied Entrepreneurship Teaching and Research Award (AETRA) recognizes faculty from Norfolk State University whose teaching, curriculum development, and research advance entrepreneurship education and practice.

At the end of each academic year the faculty member with the most distinguished record of achievement in teaching and/or research is honored by the School of Business with the AETRA Certificate and a check for $500.
