NSU Counseling Center Mission Statement The Norfolk State University Counseling Center is a unit of the Division for Student Affairs that operates in support of the University’s academic mission by promoting the psychological health and development of students so that they can be productive citizens in a global and rapidly-changing society. The Center strives to be proactive in providing high quality and cost effective services to students. Welcome to the Counseling Center. We
are here for you. Students come to the Counseling Center for a variety of reasons such as problems adjusting to college, stress management, relationship problems, and depression. In addition, Counseling Center staff members consult with members of the university community including students and parents on various student life issues including, stress management, depression and other topics. A host of outreach programs and seminars are provided to students through the Counseling Center. Please do not hesitate to
