 Internships

Norfolk State University’s Internship/Co-op Program is for students seeking positions during the school year. This program is designed to provide Norfolk State University students with career-related work experience prior to graduation.

Students who register and are interested in an internship/co-op must meet certain requirements and attend an Internship Seminar. (Seminars are conducted in the fall and spring semesters, contact Career Services directly for the update information)

The benefits of the Internship/Co-op Program include helping students prepare resumes, giving students access to many positions locally, and coaching students through the interview process. An internship allows you to integrate your academic coursework with a career related paid or unpaid experience.

Available internships/co-ops are posted on-line on SpartanLink. https://nsu-csm.symplicity.com/

Students can earn academic credit for their internship/co-op by registering for the following:

  • Cooperative Education (CED 350)
  • Cooperative Education (CED 450)
