Norfolk State University

Auxiliary Services is a unique, multi-faceted unit of the Finance and Administration area that is responsible for coordinating non-educational and general business services that contribute and relate directly to the mission, goals, and objectives of Norfolk State University. These services are expected to be self-supporting Services, though in some instances, student fees are charged to augment the on-going operations of these entities. The department has an annual operating budget in excess of $20 million. Auxiliary Services is directly responsible for the effective management of the Spartan Ticket Center, Printing Services, Quick Copy Management and SpartanCard Operations. This department also monitors contractual services including Food Services, University Bookstore, Laundry and Vending Services. In addition, Auxiliary Services provides financial oversight for all auxiliary programs and departments including Residential Life, Athletics, Parking and Transportation, Student Center, Student Activities and Auxiliary Security as well as the administration of Athletic and Special Event ticket sales.

Dining Services - Thompson Hospitality provides NSU with the very best in food quality & service. By constantly working to keep up with the ever-changing trends in campus dining, we are able to offer a terrific mix of traditional menu options as well as popular natural brands.
Facility Rentals - Facility Rentals disseminates information and processes all event requests from outside organizations requesting to use University facilities. All on campus organizations charging admissions fees or planning events involving the exchange of cash for their events are also processed through Facility Rentals in Auxiliary Services.
Printing Services - NSU Printing Services strives to produce the highest quality of printed products and services in support of Norfolk State University's mission.
Spartan Card - The SpartanCard is the official one-card of Norfolk State University. Your SpartanCard provides convenient, cost effective use of a single card for multiple purposes such as an identification card, debit card, meal card, library card and access card.
Spartan Ticket Center - The Spartan Ticket Center is designed to provide you with the up-to-date information on ticket prices for all events occurring on the Norfolk State University Campus.
University Bookstore - The NSU Bookstore at the Mills E. Godwin Center has textbooks, general books, medical books and e-Books along with software, apparel and gifts. The bookstore also has a tremendous offering of products and services specifically for the NSU Faculty.
Wellness Center - The NSU Fitness Center is dedicated to providing quality fitness and wellness programs aimed at promoting good health opportunities for the University Community. Programming features include a full functional fitness center that includes an array of free weights and cardiovascular equipment, cardio kickboxing workshops, training and fitness assessments.
