Lacey Smith

Women's Bowling

Helped the NSU bowling team finish 7-3 at the MEAC Southern Division meet in Chesapeake to take over first place in the division...rolled a 901 five-game series as the Spartans went 4-1 in team play on Saturday...bowled a season-high 201 in the win over FAMU...helped the Spartans go 3-2 in baker games on Sunday.

Men's Basketball

Averaged 25.5 points in NSU's two games last week...scored a game-high 25 points on 9-of-16 shooting in the loss to Jacksonville State...tied his career high with three 3-pointers in that game while also pulling down four rebounds...scored a team-high 26 points, including 23 in the second half, at North Carolina A&T.

Whitehead Named to Sports Network All-America Team

NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State University free safety Terrell Whitehead (Virginia Beach, Va.) was named to The Sports Network’s Football Championship Subdivision (FCS, formerly I-AA) All-America third team, the organization announced Tuesday.

Brandon Monroe had a career-high 13 rebounds and four steals against Lethbridge.
