ACCESS Plus Summer Bridge Program
The Norfolk
State University ACCESS Plus Summer Bridge Program operated this summer from
June 23 – July 18, 2008. It is designed to help first-time entering college
students enhance basic skills and make a smooth transition into college life.
The Office of First Year Experience and Academy for Collegiate Excellence and
Student Success (ACCESS) were responsible for administering the program. On
campus accommodations for students were available upon request and at the
individuals’ expense. This program accommodated 50 participants and full
