The FYE/ACCESS Instructional Computer Lab

During the fall 2006 semester, the lab moved to the newly renovated James A. Bowser Building.

The lab is now located in Suite 118.  Since it’s inception during the fall 2000 semester, the lab has been a very popular learning facility for Norfolk State students and faculty.

The computer lab has 15 computer workstations equipped with many different tutorial software packages in many subject areas, including math, English, foreign languages, statistics, career exploration, history, programming, science, accounting, communication skills and electronics.

The lab has a network  printer.  We are continuously trying to enhance and improve our services.  We welcome course specific software suggestions from faculty members and invite everyone to visit the lab to receive a personal orientation.

For more information about the computer lab, please contact the FYE/ACCESS office at 823-8507 or visit the James A. Bowser  Building, Suite 118.
