SpartanCard

Welcome!

The SpartanCard is the official identification card for Norfolk State University. While on the campus, all students, faculty, staff and affiliates are required to carry their SpartanCard. In addition to being your ID, your SpartanCard provides easy access to the campus library, residence halls, meal plans, campus events and much more!

Quick Facts

The SpartanCard controls door access for more safety and security. Now only those with privileges on their SpartanCard will be able to enter locations such as residential halls and computer labs around campus.

Keep your card away from all magnetic fields such as other magnets, bank/ATM cards, cell phones, TVs, VCRs, and stereo speakers. These can cause your card to become demagnetized, making it unable to function.

Keep your card in your possession at all times and in your wallet or a protective holder.

Report your lost or stolen card to protect account funds.

There is a $20 replacement fee (subject to change without notice) payable to the cashier’s office.

The SpartanCard is yours to use. However, it does remain the property of Norfolk State University. It is not transferable under any circumstance and should not be used by another individual. Your SpartanCard should be valued just as you would your driver's license, credit card, or cash.
 

Do not:

• Loan your ID to anyone else
• Use your card to scrape things
• Use your card as a lock opening device
• Wash or dry your card
• Alter dates or images printed on your card.

These are all violations of the SpartanCard Terms and Agreements
