Admission Criteria

Nursing –LPN to Associate Degree Program

Admission to the LPN to ADN (Associate Degree Nursing) program is highly competitive. Accepted applicants must meet the following minimal criteria:

Admission to University on or before March 1st prior to the Fall session of desired entry into the nursing program.
Submission of a separate application for admission to the Nursing Department on or before March 1st.
Completion of two units of Mathematics, including one unit of algebra and one unit of general mathematics; and two units of science, including one unit of biology and one unit of chemistry at the high school level or higher. A minimum grade of "C" is required in each course.
A cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better in high school or college work.
