    - Both NSU and NSU Board of Visitors (B.O.V.)  member, Bishop Kim Brown, were recipients of Hampton Roads Encore Awards. During a virtual ceremony on December 30, 2020, NSU was presented with the Best College/University Award. Bishop Brown was presented with two Encore Awards – the Humanitarian Award and the Best Pastor Award.
