ICCAE is offering a two-week non-residential
program for current high school students. Its
main objective is to stimulate interest in
careers in the intelligence community,
bio-security, biotechnology and environmental,
sciences.

2010 Free
Biotech Summer Program for High School Students
The ICCAE offered a
two-week (July 19-30), non-residential program
for 9-12 grade high school students in the
summer of 2010. The summer program provided
students knowledge about the intelligence
community, bio-security, dual-use research and
environmental sciences. Students piloted an
online introductory course in Arabic. The ICCAE
is considering offering the program again for
summer 2011. (The exact dates and application
materials will be posted on the ICCAE website in
late March)."

Norfolk
teens learn Arabic through summer program
|
|
|
|
The Norfolk school division launched a formal
Arabic language program this summer, with help
from Norfolk State University's Intelligence
Community Center for Academic Excellence. The
center is using part of a federal grant to pay
for Norfolk's summer class and Arabic courses at
Maury and Norview High schools starting this
fall.
