Client Services
Support & Assistance for NSU Technology
The (OIT) Client Services assists employees and students with NSU account access, resolve IT related issues and requests concerning on-campus computer systems and equipment.      website

Campus Dining

Health Center
Spartans Health Care
The Spartan Health Center, located in Spartan Station, provides basic health services for NSU students, including diagnosis and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, emergency medical care, and health education counseling.  website


International Programs
International Initiatives
International Programs is the University entity responsible for supporting, overseeing, and coordinating Norfolk State's international initiatives. International Programs works with all interested programs and services at NSU to assist in international outreach, partnerships, exchanges, research, travel, and funding pursuits.  website


Library
Lyman Beecher Brooks Library
The Lyman Beecher Brooks Library is located at the heart of the Norfolk Stare University campus. In addition to offering students research information, it is home to the Harrison B. Wilson Archives, as well as the Lois E. Woods Museum, which provides a rich history of Africans worldwide.     website

Shuttle Services
Getting Around the Campus
Shuttle Services offers free campus shuttle service for students, faculty, staff & visitors. The shuttle is handicap equipped to accommodate disabled persons. The shuttle travels on set routes continuously from the East to West with marked stops throughout the campus.  website

Student Support Services is a federally-funded program which provides a variety of supportive services for students who meet one or more of the following criteria: low income family background; first-generation college student; academically deficient; or physically disabled.  website


Transportation & Parking
University Transportation & Services
Access to Norfolk State University parking facilities are controlled with the use of valid parking decals and / or passes issued and monitored by the Office of Parking & Transportation Services.  website


University Police
Serving & Protecting the NSU Community
The NSU Police Department continues to be responsible for the safety and security of all members of the University community. As the department continues to serve and protect, please note that Norfolk State University is a public/urban institution located in the City of Norfolk, Virginia.  website


Upward Bound
The Road to Academic Excellence
Upward Bound is a federally funded TRiO program that assists 60 students from 8 target high schools from the cities of Norfolk and Portsmouth in sharpening their academic skills and pursuing education after high school graduation.   website


Veteran Affairs
Assisting Veterans with Educational Needs
The Veteran Affairs Office provides registration for VA benefits, counseling, and general admissions assistance for veterans, active-duty, reservists, and their dependents. website
